Clubs & Activities

Something for every Blue Jay...

One of the best ways to hang out with your friends and make lasting memories in middle school is to get involved with the many clubs and activities offered before and after school. We hope every Caruso Middle School student will find at least one club to join and become passionate about!

The clubs and activities offered each year will be decided on a year-by-year basis to account for student interest.

If you have any questions please email the specific club sponsor, or reach out to our Associate Principal, Ms. Mette with general questions about our extracurriculars.

Sign Up for a Club or Activity:

Please complete the Club & Activity Participation Form and return it to your sponsor. If payment is required, submit it online through Family Access.

The Illinois Student Invention Convention is a transdisciplinary K–8 program that engages students in hands-on, real-world problem-solving and phenomenon-based learning. It empowers youth to take ownership of their learning while building skills in problem identification, innovation, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking. Along the way, students develop confidence, resilience, and leadership—preparing them to become the next generation of innovators.

Using a free, standards-aligned curriculum, students follow a seven-step innovation process: identifying a meaningful problem, developing and testing solutions, and ultimately creating a working or non-working prototype. Competition opportunities are available at the state and national levels for students who are interested and qualify.
