Are you interested in joining the Gay Straight Alliance at Caruso or at DHS? If so, join us next week Tuesday at 3:15 to meet a bunch of high school students who are going to tell us all about the club. Join us in the CMA room Tuesday.

Attention students going to South Park & Wilmot tomorrow after school to promote the color run:

The following students will be leaving from the front entrance tomorrow at 2:55pm. The group will be walking to South Park & another group to Wilmot. We will not be returning to Caruso. They must be picked up at either South Park or Wilmot.

Expectations for the students:
You are there to pump up the students and get them EXCITED to participate in the color run at Caruso.

Give each elementary student the informational card.

Tell the date : Friday, May 5th at 4:15 pm at the back field of Caruso.

Tell them : The money raised will be used to build a new fitness room at Caruso.

Tell them : To look for more information on April 26th.

Congrats Caruso! Together we collected 2074 items to give to charity. Everything matters to people who need it. Thank you for donating your used and new items to help others. Thank you to Student Council for delivering each item to each cause. Well done team!

Philanthropy Club: A reminder that we are going to the Deerfield Food Pantry on Thursday, 4/27 from 3:30-4:15. If you have not already e-mailed me that you would like to attend, please do so. I will be sending home a waiver that needs to be signed to parents. Thank you! Mrs. Cohen

  • As a healthy reminder please remember that students should not have any cell phones or cameras out during the school day without teacher permission. This guidance is doubly important in our locker rooms. **Are you interested in learning leadership while helping create a positive environment at Caruso? If so, Student Council is for you. Join us for an informational meeting on Friday September 9th in the CMA room at 7:30am. Everyone is invited!

 

**Attention all students: a reminder that if you plan to visit our elementary schools you need to make sure to email a teacher in advance to set-up an appointment and enter through the front doors only. Please be sure not to arrive unannounced or enter through a side door during dismissal time. Thank you!

 

**DESTINATION IMAGINATION – If you are interested in signing up for DI stop by B1 – AFTER SCHOOL – Monday, Sept. 12th OR Tuesday, Sept. 13th to find out about DI and when it will be starting. If you have never heard of DI, come and learn what the excitement and all those trophies in the library are all about.You don’t have to come both days. If you can’t make it on either day, send Mr. Jensen an email and let him know of your interest to join DI. If you have a returning team, you should still come by to get signed up.

–This year we are working with Jostens for our school yearbook. The yearbook is a great memory for middle schoolers as a keepsake of what their life was like during their time enjoyed at Caruso.You can order a yearbook directly at www.jostensyearbooks.com or through our direct link http://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A01749750 or by phone at 1-877-767-5217.Ordering MUST be done online- we do not accept cash or checks for the yearbook. The yearbook is $25.00 if you order before September 30th. After that, the price will increase. –The first Charisma rehearsal is this Thursday August 25 from 3:30-4:30 at SHEPARD. See you then!
7th gradeĀ girls’ volleyball tryouts will be held in the gym on Monday, August 29th from 3:15-4:30 pm and Tuesday, August 30th from 3:15-4:10 pm. Please be sure to have all pre-tryout forms on file before next Monday. Copies of forms are found on the school’s website under “athletics”. –Student Council Board will have the first meeting of the year on Friday September 2nd in the CMA room. See you all there!
